Brunettes are a pretty awesome (not to mention adorable) New Zealand band and they are playing RNR This Friday in support of their Structure and Cosmetics album.
Now, it is totally worth whatever it is that it costs (10, 12 bucks?) but thanks to our reader Lauryn, and her endless generosity (as well as a travel schedule that conflicts with the show) you can have 2 of these tickets for free.
and to sweeten the deal local heros The Fairline Parkway who are opening the show are throwing it a pair of tickets themselves and some CDs (of their eponymous debut) to boot.

I would like these tickets because I am coming to DC for the weekend and staying with some friends and I'd like to take us out to a show without breaking the bank. Love The Brunettes - play them on my college radio show all the time.
I think I should have these tickets because I've been making everyone in my (non-profit arts - i have no money) office listen to The Brunettes all day.
Since I'm a blonde I'll have more fun. I also need to find out if brunettes really are smarter.
i want them because i am obsessed with new zealand. plus the brunettes are adorable. plus i want to hear them say things like "sweet-as" and "cod's wollop" in that precious kiwi accent.

I need the tickets b/c I am desperately in need of the teddy bear and panda bear in the photo, we need to take them to rescue something from someone, and so forth. Very much like how Mario rescued the Princess, but without these two allies the task will be in vain.
