Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you are aware that the LA Galaxy, with David Beckham in tow, is arriving next week (August 9th, to be more precise) to play D.C. United
It is, without a doubt, going to be the DC soccer event of the year. You know it.
And unless you’ve been hiding under several rocks you are also aware that the individual tickets to this are well, sold out for the general audience
But fear not-,
Due to endless kindness of D.C. United and Bobby Boswell, (the only athlete ever to be featured multiple times on BYT)
We are teaming up with BobbyBoswell.com
NOT ONLY a pair of tickets to the game
BUT ALSO
A pair of tickets to the invite only post game party at LIMA, with players present
It is going to be big.
It is going to be huge.
It is going to be humongous and you get to be there.

So, what do you have to do to get your hands on these?

It is simple:
Write a short essay/sonnet/poem/limerick of up to 200 words as to WHY you are especially deserving of this prize night with two of Major League Soccer´s hottest players.

Then either post it as a comment or send it over to

by Wednesday August 8th at 8am.
And Bobby will pick the winner out whom we will announce the winner by the end of the work day that same day.

I would greatly appreciate getting these tickets,
Because I love soccer, more then I love cricket.
I like D.C United because it is a very good team,
They play hard, and they could also play clean.
I’ve been too late, now the stadium is sold out,
I could watch the game on TV, their’s no doubt,
But I of course prefer being there to support you and shout.
I’m currently attending D.C United Elite Camp,
And there, we’ll watch the team train like champs.
I would love receiving these tickets of the game,
If I miss this historic event, it will cause me so much pain.
So this is it, my poem to be the winner, it would be great,
I’d be so happy if on the game date I’d be at the RFK gate.

Yes, United is a paragon
