I first pitched the idea of a fundraiser to Svetlana back in February, and it has since spiraled into a collision of my DC worlds. The Posterus Foundation is a non-profit that I help run, BYT lets me take photos for them, and Sean Haney keeps me dancing, dancing, dancing.
On Friday, April 4, NYC-based Posterus Foundation will hold its first DC fundraiser, “District Warm Up”, sponsored by BYT and music by Sean Haney. Open bar from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Eighteenth Street Lounge, tickets available here.
Start out your Friday night with good drinks, good music, good people…and great cause.
The Posterus Foundation is a non-profit fundraising vehicle for social and economic development in emerging countries. Posterus is committed to creating new possibilities for the world’s underprivileged. Our launch last Spring in NYC raised over $8,000 for a school library expansion with Team Tobati in Paraguay and the construction of a vocational school with the Farm of Hope in the DR Congo. We’ve made great strides in the past year.
Now, with (a little) help of BYT, the Posterus Foundation comes to the District for your support.

We hope to see you Friday:
