As to the technical issue, it is most likely the result of your location. You see, the AT&T satellites sometimes have trouble connecting to terminals in certain areas where the declining ratio of low to high powered brain activity sparks massive outages in electromagnetic pod-barriers, interfering with the radio waves. In your case, living in the developing world (or what we call the "Third" world in English) you should expect to see a bit of bad service and inoperative functionality, especially during periods of massive stupidity, such as new American Idol or the daily fanatical swarming ritual known as Rush-Hour. Your best solution is to move where there are less Virginians, or at least swap the E and the R in the name of your town so it doesn't look like it's spelled wrong on a map.

The satellites hate misspellings.
