We always get these emails to our info account about: where to go if you’re underage and want to party on a Tuesday? what is the legal age of consent in DC/Delware/Maryland/Virginia? why does no one like me? why does it ALWAYS rain the night of the High Heel race? etc etc
AND WE WANT TO HELP (if we can, which we probably can(’t)) but we decided we needed to do it in a more efficient way.
So,anyway, now-once a week we’re all going to sit here with our computers and answer all your nightlife and life in general questions as they roll in.

i like to party as much as the next guy. but i also like to find out what a girl has planned for the future, and if there's no plan i think it's cool to just relate to each other about your common fears. being a young adult is scary...so if you feel uncertain, most girls probably do too.

if you feel like going out dancing, then you go girl. dont worry about vapid little scene sluts staring at you. ask their opinion on anything and you'll feel totally superior.
on another note, you dont always have to go to a NITE CLUB to socialize. there are tons of bars, taverns, and restaurant/bars in DC where people in your peer group like to hang. you may want to mix it up.
ruths chris in dupont is a good standard meet up spot. but try the big hunt or maybe even marvin for a better/less college years experience.

I can suggest a number of low-key bars, taverns and drinking dens where you can sip without worrying about the evil eye. But realistically, haters will always be around. 1) If you're still worried about what girls think about you, you may wanna consider a serious reevaluation of life.
2) Assuming they're into it, girls like guys that party so long as it's free (I think that's the answer you're looking for).

In my limited experience at DC shows, it never seems like people wanna dance very much. Why is this? Is anyone spearheading some kind of DC get-out-the-dance-moves campaign?
