Photos and Drunken Words by Mike Danko (not pictured below)

This was a great day if you ask me. With the booze hitting my mouth as soon as I woke up in early AM of this Saturday it took a considerably long time until a decent state of inebriation had set in. This was comfortably maintained throughout the day until unexpectedly arriving at Rock n Roll later on in the evening. At that point I figured what the hell. Let’s see what gets in front of the lens. More drinks, please!

Loose Lips fronting a porn star looking Donnie almost always come off with a don’t-take-us-seriously-because-we-sure-as-hell-don’t demeanor. It’s not hard to get into them even if one has not had the chance to download their E.P. for free. Yes, it’s free. Use the interwebs to find it. One may argue that this E.P. is their attempt to deter people to observe them on stage. When looking at it from that perspective they seem to have a whole different side to them. On occasion they might lay down a cover — but not this time. Boo! Bass Man is a different story. The question of the evening was “…is this guy in the right band?…” Without a doubt these boys might possibly draw out decent crowd on a Wednesday night.

By the time Pretty & Nice played their first tune there wasn’t much that I wasn’t seeing double or triple. So, my guess is they did a fantastic job of sounding like any average band.

Last weekend every band we ever wrote about played RNR here are links to a million previous coverages:
-Loose Lips listening party
-Pretty & Nice interview
-Middle distance runner hot dog blog
-100 beers with middle distance runner
-pretty&nice live show review
and trust me, there is MUCH more

haha, thanks Danko (I think), photos are awesome. For the record we played a Weezer cover.
