Last week, we sent several of our contributors to cover the circus magic at the Kennedy Center's Millenium stage. Read and view Joel and Jason's hilarious (and somewhat heartbreaking) story here and see below what Pat experienced on Tuesday:
....story of an encounter between a juggling acrobat and a musician. On stage, one is shadowing the other and moves on his tiptoes. His silent and quick movements shape the space. The other one juggles on 16th and 17th century musical works and on personal musical creation. They exchange with each other without any trick but with sincere emotion, happiness and force. The sound of a lute, a theorbo, a Renaissance guitar and bells take us on a journey from the Pyrenean mountains to those of Laos. “Le chant des balles” is here, you just have to listen to it…
