I love Autechre. I was pumped about the show. I was ready to get subterranean with digital signal altering.
I saw a glow stick. Maybe two.
I listened to Chris talk about the “euro-trash” coming out of the PA (DJ Rob Hall).
I saw a man go wild on a MIDI controller (Massonix).
The lights dimmed. The place was black. Autechre came on.
I fell asleep.
I left.
I still love Autechre.

April 22, 2008 at 12:21 ami don’t know how anyone can do it. i left autechre last time they were in town. my friend tried again and left as well. they are horrible boring unless you are on drugs.
