Opening for Mum tomorrow, this soft spoken singer-songwriter should fit nicely with the aethetics of the Sixth & I Historic Synagogue. His latest effort, Cavalier, may win the award for shittiest album cover of all time, but don't let that deter you, haunting and poetic, this intimate recording is a real grower.

Tickets: $18
Doors open at 7:00 p.m.; concert begins at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased through Sixth & I without handling fees by phone at 202/408-3100 or by e-mail, or online at Ticketmaster or by calling 202/397-SEAT.

God loves a cheerful giver.
Hey Cale - stop trying to steal my job of reviewing record design. Although... I do see your point...
The album art is an homage to an obscure author's book art that Tom was reading at the time.
Yeah- like Charles Bukowski's BLACK SPARROW PRESS books
