Nearly four months after being jump-streeted then seemingly shuttered for good by a grip of building inspectors, MPD and ABC cops, the loft space at 411 New York Avenue N.E. is back in business and officially certified to stay that way. Now that’s some good news. Good enough to cancel out the dull horror of Brandon Black’s bummer text message (he was about 30 minutes into his party when the police and them came knocking). Good enough to misappropriate a headshot of Saint HR for this post’s thumbnailbait (Yes. That good). Word is there are parties already scheduled from October until the end of the year, starting with this one on October 11. Look at the roster. Look at the cover price range. Hosannas would not be out of order.
On the stumble tip, a last minute affair was hustled together at the space last saturday with djs Adrian Loving, Double o7 and Iwa in the main room. Unfortunately the shit was too last minute and the turn out was barely worth mentioning. Still, I comes away with a couple of my standard award-losing big hands shots, just for you and you.
