September 10, 2008 at 2:58 pmtrue story: when I was 22 and first moved to DC I saw this episode of “2 Guys, a Girl and A Pizza Place” (or whatever it was called, it had Ryan Reynolds in it, that’s what matters) in which they post imaginary missed connection ads for people they think, in their mind, are ideal.
So I actually did that.
MCs for imaginary people.
As an experiment.
Went on some nice dates as a result. Met some nice people.
People should try it more often.
I empirically proved it works.
