While we certainly caught a disproportionate amount of flack when we mentioned the planned” pantless metro ride, and spent the better part of last week defending your right to drop trow, somehow, we managed not to attend.
We were to busy attending weddings, playing bridge, watching foreign Oscar contender movies and catching up on our reading.
Most of these things we in fact did pantless, but we did not take the metro.
But fear not, someone else did.
(I hear you scream: Whaaaat, I thought BYT is the only publication in DC that would condone such activities?. Well, no.)

Then I looked it up.
BOTH SPELLINGS ARE CORRECT.
Sort of like saying “money” and “monies” which drives me bananas every time.

January 15, 2008 at 1:06 pmI actually spent some time before the first post trying to figure out the proper spelling, I think some of the confusion is that “trow” is often used to mean “trou” and that drop trow used to mean drop trowel. Regardless, on this post it originally said “drop troguzhdn” or something cause Svet doesn’t really speak English very well and I changed it to the original spelling. I hadn’t seen your note on the other post for some reason.
