While I am always sceptical of:
a. Museums in DC that cost money
b. Museums with puns in their names (hell, anything with puns in their names)
it is regardless, exciting to see another beacon of information rise in our fair city.
TODAY.
If you ready any papers you know that this, “the world’s most interactive” museum has been both awaited eagerly, panned for its architecture (thank you Washington Post!) and called “dazzling and elevating”.
And as of half an hour away, you can pay 20 bucks and roam its 250 000 square feet, 4D Movie theatres, and other sensory overload facilities at your own leisure.
I, personally, am a little afraid of it.

April 11, 2008 at 7:31 amThe Newseum is actually free today… but only today.
April 11, 2008 at 9:04 amThe moved from Arlington. About as big a flop as crack.
April 11, 2008 at 10:27 amWhen in Arlington it was free, no? Now it is $20 per. I’d submit if it was doing so great it never would have moved, but time will tell if people will pay that much I guess.
April 11, 2008 at 4:00 pmcrack’s free the first time, too.
April 11, 2008 at 4:04 pmIf people will pay for the Spy museum ( it thoroughly sucks ) $20 for the Newseum is a steal. The Pulitzer winning photo exhibit is one of the most amazing things I’ve seen in a museum ever. I’m excited to see what’s new here, and the building itself is amazing.

Wasn’t there already a Newseum that flopped?
