We should have had that Fort Reno schedule on our hands WEEKS A GO, shouldn't have we?
Well, after last year's poisoned earth scare, and this year's financial difficulties, Fort Reno has finally announced that it is DEFINITELY happening.
You just can't plan on any show past next week, at this point.
What we do know is this (thanks, in part, to DCist, and, in part facebook):
Mondays and Thursdays stay the days you will be packing a blanket to work and rushing to Tenleytown wholefoods before 6.
It all kicks off next week, Monday, June 22nd and so far, schedule wise, we have this:
MONDAY JUNE 22ND
PASH
FUNK ARK
THE SWEATER SET
THURSDAY JUNE 25TH
THE ELECTRICUTIONS
MEOW VS. MEOW
NOON:30
Keep checking http://www.fortreno.com/ for further details. Maybe one of these days we find out what's up.

God loves a cheerful giver.
wish they were more open-minded towards music that is not indie rock.
fort reno could be great again.
Who are these bands? Preview?
good question. previews will be forthcoming
It looks like that "summer camp" actually reads summer scamp.
Scamp:
1. an unscrupulous and often mischievous person; rascal; rogue; scalawag.
2. a playful, mischievous, or naughty young person; upstart.
3. a grouper, Mycteroperca phenax, of Florida: so called from its habit of stealing bait.
If only that were intentional!
Doing a simple Yahoo search, it appears that most of the bands have pages on MySpace. Check it out.
what is yahoo?
pash rocks.
the rest of the event is shaping up to be quite an amateur snoozefest.
agree pash rocks! but you obviously haven't seen Meow vs. Meow and NOON:30. sick.
dc has no good bands any more.
Hi,
You can check us our music at

or

from the DCist:
"Next Thursday's show (6/25) will be headlined by The Electrocutions, a band that we've never seen and appear to be un-Google-able. If you know anything about these guys, drop a line in the comments. Joining the mysterious Electrocutions are Meow vs. Meow, who we found to be completely beguiling and great when we stumbled upon them opening up a show at DC9 a few months ago, along with all-girl alt-rockers noon:30."

It's because the name is spelled wrong. See above or myspace.com/electricutionsdc
