Miss Virginia did win Miss USA this past weekend and now The Daily beast announces that as a result of some serious "empirical" researching (like People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issues, beautiful celebrity origins and Miss America winners) they've determined that DC is the best looking state in this whole big country. (even though it is still not quite a state)
(Hawaii rolled in at #2, California is #3 and Connecticut and Florida round out the top 5, North Dakota brings up the rear at #51, with South Dakota and Mississippi at #50 and #49 respectively)
Virginia is #18 (but still the best place EVER to score a hot, rich person in casual pants) and Maryland is at #16.

Lauren Graham's mom definitely still lives in Virginia. She and her mom came into the restaurant I work at in Mclean, 2 winters ago.
I always thought of Hollywood as the place where dumb girls go to be successful and DC as the place where smart girls go to be successful. But there are too many cuties to be the Hollywood for uglies.
NY is vastly hotter. But DC still kicks the ass of Philly or Baltimore in that dept., no question.
but is the whole NY State on average hotter than the whole of DC state? It is not about cities, it is about whole states. Just throwing that out there.
