- Corner Market on Florida Ave looks to be turning into "Eat Healthy Juice Bar and Deli," touting all natural and vegan food. (Thanks to Danielle for the eyes on this)
- Taylor Gourmet launches an amazing sounding roast pork sandwich.
- A bistro, on U Street? Seems Bistro La Bonne is now in the old Axis space, serving brunch!
- Estadio, a new Spanish place on 14th, has their Liquor license talk tonight.
- Screwtop, a wine bar, opens in Clarendon.
- California Tortilla is launching a new California Screamin' spicy burrito. To celebrate, they are having an invitation-only Tweetup. And you need to email them for the location. Info here.
- Food Blogger Potluck tonight. Not intimidating at all, nope. Also, Glee.

- Did you watch the White House Top Chef on Sunday? It was pretty good. Batali and Emeril were kind of a mess. White House Chef Comerford and Bobby Flay won. The White House followed up on the show by releasing a few healthy, vegetable-focused recipes which you can grab here.
- Hey Michael. $750 cupcake.
- A Scottish woman went to go buy Christmas dinner and hasn't been home since because of snow. Worst excuse ever.
- Don't piss off The Situation, or you get excluded. "From now on you are excluded from dinner then. You are excluded from surf and turf night. You are excluded from ravioli night. You are excluded from chicken cutlet night." For some recipes that the kids from Jersey Shore might like, Food & Wine has some suggestions. Really.
- Some woman tried to order McNuggets after 2:30 am when they weren't available. She got the 'chicken rage' and put her fist through the drive-through window. Right on sister.
- Stupid monkeys, can't eat Jell-O.

So Scottish woman has an excuse for poor planning, but what of her poor husband? If she was off to get food, what is he sustaining on?
Alex - well I'd suspect they have the internet, so he's likely just living off porn. You would think that it would do nothing to nourish but it does, oh it does. I once lived for 9 days on nothing but pornography and skittles.
