This week more info on Kid's Restaurant Week, shared garden space, Obamas are foodies, Donovan House gets food, Daniel Craig popsicles, cupcakes for a cause, Carole Greenwood out, Comet Pizza goes mobile and Rasika soon to be available at Whole Foods.
- Kids Restaurant Week starts June 13. There's some more detail on it. Kids 11-and-under pay their age, while adults pay $29 each. Seems it's limited to 5-7, but kids eat early.
- A very cool new service via DCist. Shared garden space! You can let people use you unused yard for their own garden, or find a plot to use if you don't have outdoor space.
- The Obama's continue their path as foodies. Michelle goes to a garden in Mt. Pleasant to talk to kids, date night at Blue Hill in NY and an office burger run to Five Guys by the Prez himself.

- The restaurant/lounge at Donovan House opens up Monday. Called Zentan, it will offer Asian inspired fare.
- If you're in England this week, pick up a Daniel Craig popsicle for me will you?

- The Race for the Cure is this weekend. In honor of that Georgetown Cupcakes is offering Cupcakes for the Cure, all proceeds go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

- Carole Greenwood out at Buck's Fishing and Camping and Comet. She will be moving to NYC to pursue other interests. With changes at both of these locations, the most interesting is that Comet is partnering with On The Fly. Comet Pizza available as street food, sweet. GOG have all the news.
- Rasika sauces to be sold at Whole Foods this summer.

God loves a cheerful giver.
i just ate at rasika for the first time in a while last week and it was delicious.
also-can obama please eat something else but burgers? i know this is a nice populist food strategy and all but i am worried. for.that.whole.family's.cholesterol.levels.
maybe they need the iron.
I like the fact that Michelle slugged down two martinis with dinner at Blue Hill. Booze n' burgers.
