That is all.
I haven’t had a corn-dog since grade school. I want one. Where’s a good place in DC to score?
Come on, BYT. RESEARCH.
January 28, 2008 at 2:52 pmNot quite carnival-standard fare, but the Morningstar Farms veggie corndogs are quite good…and available in any Safeway.
January 28, 2008 at 3:01 pmYou can get a corn dog at M’dawg in Adam’s Morgan.
January 28, 2008 at 3:12 pmI got booted off the jury pool!
Michael - maybe that water ice/funnel cake place near Palace of Wonders? DC needs a Sonic!
Taylor - I just threw up in my mouth twice.
January 28, 2008 at 3:13 pmYou can get corndogs at the MoCo Fair. If anyone wants to go, I’m eligible in 2009.
January 28, 2008 at 3:29 pmUrban BBQ in Rockville has killer corn dogs - 2 smothered in redneck fondue!!!! They also have amazing ribs and brisket and possibly the greatest morsel known to man - the soul roll.
January 28, 2008 at 3:38 pmTaylor - thanks, but I’ll pass.
Holly - thanks, and I did some research and found that but someone anonymous said they may not be good. I will have to try for myself.
Cale - perhaps, but they’re closed for the season. I do know they have the best Philly Cheesesteaks anywhere (yes, including Philly).
Jeff - You aren’t a man if you don’t try to get in this year. I’ll go.
January 28, 2008 at 3:40 pmWe should have a BBQ-off post on BYT. I ate at Famous Daves today for lunch, and I don’t want to hear any bullshit about it being a chain, that place is tasty.
January 28, 2008 at 3:49 pmI’m pretty sure that corn-dogs don’t count as BBQ, no matter what region you’re from.
January 28, 2008 at 4:14 pmI don’t think anyone was insinuating that it was…
God I love pig.
Did you know that they have curly-cue penises just like their tails?
January 28, 2008 at 4:37 pmYou know what makes me throw up, Cale? Checking this site every two mintues for write-up / pics from the ultra-fantastic Jukebox / Bellman / Pash show on Saturday night.
Secondly, what goes for ass sex goes for veggie corndogs: you won’t know until you try.
January 28, 2008 at 4:40 pmstill waiting on some jukebox snaps.
it will be up first thing tomorrow!
Oh, I’m sorry, Svetlana! I didn’t mean to be impatient. But Cale said I made him vomit, so…I had to pick on something. :)
January 28, 2008 at 4:45 pmI only know about Urban having the dogs by virtue of small children dining with me. I volunteer to take part in the BBQ xtravaganza. I will bring soul rolls whch can only be eaten as describing them can never do them justice. I shit you not. The owner of the place brings them with him to his neighborhood bar after closing shop every Friday and the one time he forgot they kicked him out and wouldn’t let him back in.
I also hazard that 2-3 orders and Cale might actually have to buy men’s clothes to wear - wheee! Now we are talking about fun.
January 28, 2008 at 5:46 pmshouldnt a bbq-off involve people making their own bbq? if so, im in.
January 28, 2008 at 7:48 pmI’ll eat yr sloppy joes adam.
January 28, 2008 at 9:04 pmi see what you did their, pedro.
January 28, 2008 at 9:55 pmWhat’s better than pig wrapped in dough?

Cale is on Jury duty today and cannot write anything so we are revisiting some of his greatest hits.
Like this gem (his 9th post ever, of 419) which ran on:
2006-07-20
2:41:59 pm
His 8th post was about this awesome new band called 1990s (no “the”)
January 28, 2008 at 2:49 pmand we all saw how that ended.
