Brightest Young Things

We're getting all orangy today kiddos. This pre-prohibition classic comes to us from the New Netherland Hotel in New York City as its signature drink.

Netherland

• 2 oz brandy
• 2/3 oz orange curacao
• 1 dash orange bitters

Shake ingredients with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass. Use less curacao if you want something less sweet. I like this to end my nights rather than start them, but I found that it's really versatile either way.  This is another one that's made it to my short list of recommended cocktails.
