It's been a rough, weird week, hasn't it? Random celebrity and psuedo-celebrity deaths, Metro imploding into itself like a neutron star...jesus. Pour one of these for your fallen homies (McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson, Mays) as it has something for everyone: rum for the party girls, Dubonnet for the old folks. bitters for the weirdos and gin for the rest of us.
Bushranger
- 1 1/4 oz light rum
- 1 1/4 oz Red Dubonnet
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Stir in a mixing glass with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Drink (gulp, really. this isn't such a great taste) and reflect that now all we have left to carry the twin banners of pop music and shitty infomercials are Justin Timberlake and Vince "You're Gonna Love My Nuts", the Shamwow Guy.
