BrightestYoungThings: BYT <3's Tim and Eric

I remember back in the early days of BYT, the only TV events we'd put on the calendar were Tim and Eric related. To get you up to speed, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim made some funny sketch comedy videos together and put them up on http://www.timanderic.com/. Like this one:

Bob Odenkirk from Mr. Show took notice and helped them get a TV show on Cartoon Network called Tom Goes to the Mayor. He also appeared in some of their short films, like this amazing one:

Tom Goes to the Mayor was weird and a lot of people didn't get it. But some talented funny people got it and appeared on it. So some low budget show at midnight on Cartoon Network ended up starring Jack Black, Patton Oswalt, Jeff Goldblum, Brian Posehn, Michael Ian Black, John C. Reilly, Zach Galifianakis, and Bob Balaban just to name a few. It was, in my opinion, one of the greatest television shows of all time. Here is a commercial for it:

You should just buy the complete series on DVD. So then they stopped with Tom Goes to the Mayor and started a new show called Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!. This was also on Cartoon Network, but was not a cartoon. They also gained weight, which made them funnier. People seemed to respond a little better to this show and now Tim and Eric are huge indie stars. One of their most beloved characters is this guy:

They also made some Vodka commercials that are pretty amazing:

They had a touring show as well, but they skipped DC like three times. But now they are finally making it to 6th and I. We were supposed to do some cool stuff like interviews and photo shoots and what not but Eric is obsessed with my girlfriend and got really jealous or something so he decided not to do any of that. So we decided just to make a post with a lot of youtube videos. Hope you like it and see you tonight:
