Dave Nada After more than 10 years of playing guitar in hardcore punk bands, Nada began to gravitate toward his other musical passion, dance music. His signature, eclectic and always uplifting, blend of classic and new school Hip-Hop, Baltimore house, funk, soul and Afrobeat, with occasional electro thrown in, makes him a standout in the increasingly segmented club scene. In addition to local clubs such as Sonar, Club Five, the Black Cat, Home, Platinum, Wonderland Ballroom, Nation, 201 Lounge and many others, Dave Nada has played clubs in New York, Philly, Chicago and Richmond. He has been featured in a number of publications including Spin magazine, URB, Fader, the Washington Post, Philadelphia Weekly, the Baltimore and Washington City Papers. Grab some of his remixes: |

NYC’s electro outfit 33Hz will be preforming live. Their new single “Paris, Texas” featuring Devin the Dude and Teki Latex plus remixes by Architecture in Helsinki, Curtis Vodka, Gentlemen Drivers, Max Pask, and In Flagranti is available on Brooklyn’s Dither Down imprint. Band member Benny Lowe sent us some new tracks with commentary:
This one goes out to Giants Stadium.
There’s lots of Stephanies in NYC; one can only hope to find the right one.
We stop caring about our carbon emissions when the mercury hits 90. Sorry.
