Brandon and I are gearing up for an awesome “We Fought the Big One” this Friday night at Marx Cafe. It’s been a while since we’ve djed without a special guest and we’re looking forward to having some extra time behind the turntables. Both of us have acquired a substantial amount of choice records recently that we’re itching to play for you. As usual, you can expect to hear a plethora of classic DIY post-punk circa ‘78 - ‘84, some shoegazey stuff, a little krautrock perhaps, and definitely a generous assortment of other moody and off-kilter independent music from various eras…

I’d also like to take a moment to recognize someone who is really the unsung hero of “We Fought the Big One” and that is the Zen Master Chris Diamond, the very talented graphic designer who creates all of our flyers and covers of our cd compilations.
