This Friday is the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY,
and we’ve got big things scheduled for you. Our guest is being flown in
all the way from Cincinnati to give you a taste of some of the best
dancefloor funk and soul in the world……..as his collection and DJ
skills are second to none. Chris “Iceburg” Burgan is so talented that
he’s earned his own label, “Iceburg”, a branch of Kay-Dee Records given
to him by Kenny Dope himself! Burgan’s records are vast and varied, but
he also brings to the table a heavy dose of Ohio funk & soul…..both
James Brown and Bootsy Collins have extensive Ohio connections so you
KNOW the small label groups he’s bringing will have the same power. In
addition to Chris’s magical sounds, we’ve also arranged for balloons,
drink specials, and surprises for all who attend! DON’T MISS THIS ONE!!
We’ll have boxes of FREE soul/funk/related 45s, LPs and 12″s so you can try this at home. Just make sure to leave some for others, ok? :)
