Not that long ago, anti-folk hero Kimya Dawson would have been just about my last guess to make it to the big time. Not that she wasn’t ready for it, I just woulda thought the big time wasn’t ready for her. But now it’s 2008 and girl’s got herself invites to Hollywood movie premiers, the Juno soundtrack is number one, and she’s sitting there all pretty singing “Anyone Else But You” with fellow Moldy Peach Adam Green on The View. I guess I underestimated the big time.
