This Saturday at the Capitol Skyline Hotel from noon-8pm we’re gonna have:
-Free astronaut ice cream for the first 30 people in the door
-A moon bounce
-Model rockets
-Space disco DJs:
ED Dudes (Velodrome, The Affair)
Nitekrawler (Moneytown)
Deep Sang & Meistro (Dirty Bombs, Solid Gold Sound)
-Space crafts/games
-Space inflatables
-Space food and drinks
-Space hot lifeguards
-Space pool time fun
this is an all ages event and only $10 for the whole day.

All drinks $5 or under (sponsored by Imperial vodka), yummy food “buckets” – calamari, wings, and falafel for $4 and a full menu for lunch, dinner, etc, etc, etc
ATMs and LOCKERS are available (bring your own padlock, or buy one off the hotel for $10).
Also-SURPRISE!!! We will also be special previewing the new LP from DISCOVERY (Rostam from Vampire Weekend and Wes from Ra Ra Riot) which will be out on July 7th on XL. Its a perfect slice of summer music so come early to hear it. Plus, there will be some special giveaways related to this too.

June 22, 2009 at 6:23 pmLook at the furniture around that pool. This place was built for Space Camp. No question.

June 24, 2009 at 8:25 amHost – no. That’s the Maryland something Harbor. It has nothing to do with DC or the Nation’s Capitol. God that name irks me, almost as much as them now having our awesome statue.
June 24, 2009 at 8:40 amNo, after space camp Check out New York Night Train happening at Civilian Art Projects :)
June 24, 2009 at 10:41 amthe awakening’s life-span just got so much shorter. it is surrounded by sand with kids constantly climbing it with sand on their shoes. effed

June 24, 2009 at 4:58 pmThe Discovery EP is way better than the LP, but still, i’m excited for this! And somehow the DC forecast (aside from Friday) has no rain for the next 10 days…..!
June 24, 2009 at 5:16 pmeddie – you STFU you broke dick grandpa. For one, Momo has never scoffed at the event, nor have I. I did scoff at being herded like cattle at an outdoor event in order to smoke, but you called me up all giddy that they didn’t enforce it. Sorry, but I’ve been out of town for each one, other than the past cancelled one.
Get your facts straight you drunk alzheimer’s having Mick retard.
June 24, 2009 at 5:36 pma) i wasn’t even close to being giddy since i quit smoking b) it was at my house not on the phone, you burnout and c) you look stupid once again by displaying the epitome of hypocrisy, jackass
