Nancy Holt’s film Underscan (1974) explores the home of the artist’s aging aunt through still images and excerpts from her letters. Dara Birnbaum’s Technology/Transformation: Wonder Woman (1978–79) utilizes imagery from the television series Wonder Woman to deconstruct the identity of a pop culture icon. Eleanor Antin’s Caught in the Act (1973) compares the realities of still photographs to images captured on videotape. 70 minutes.
