Songwriters Dan Scheuerman and Matt Dowling ventrued out into the “Olney, Maryland hyphy-pop scene” in 1998.  The two wanted to start a band  that sounded like “mostly shoe horns and limp pillows.”  Their guitarist, Chris Scheffey, and drummer, Brian Hospital, joined shortly  hereafter Scheurman and Dowling had first met.  In 2005, they releaseed their first 4 song record, “Deleted Scenes EP.”  They hit the road after the release of the album in hopes of getting their name out their.  Their first full length album, Birdseed Shirt,” was released in 2009.
