Ladies and Gentlemen, we are only a few days away from one of the most special and craziest nights in DC…CROWD CONTROL THIS THURSDAY W/ DJ DREDD!!! Dredd and his dancefloor fire will be in the building and we’re bringing our A game like whoa. this will be like the Wrath of Zeus x 129081293012. Last month’s Crowd Control made media headlines like a corduroy pillow, so if you don’t know, now you know. THURSDAY @ DC9 STAND THE FUX UP!!!

“DJ/Musician/Restauranteur in Washington DC. Moved to DC by way of NC in 2000 and quickly made a name for himself as a DJ in a city full of other great DJ’s.

Known for old-school dance tracks and hip-hop DJ Dredd also started a dance party dedicated to Prince in December 2000 at the former Metro Cafe. The “Prince Party” has now evolved into a phenomenon that attracts sell-out crowds at the historic Black Cat nightclub. Dredd had a 5 year Friday night residency at Aroma Lounge in Cleveland Park that gave people who didn’t want to wait in lines at the mega-clubs some where to go and listen to good music. Then there was “Uncle Q’s Living Room” at Blue Room in Adams Morgan where Dredd’s mix of vintage hip-hop, breaks and classic dance grooves was the foundation of the “place to be” on Thursday nights in DC.

Currently you can check Dredd at Vegetate on Saturday nights. He is also usually at the Black Cat on holiday weekends presenting the Prince Dance Party.”

DJs Dave Nada, Ris Richards and mc/hostesss Rah form like votron and give you BULLETS. Bullets will heat up the dance floor thursday night, spinning a diverse mix of hip-hop, hardcore, dancehall, booty, electro, go-go, and crunk ass music!!!
