Bryan Scary is a Brookyn-based wunderkind whose quickly building a name for himself due to his intricate and orchestral brand of indie-pop. Do I hear a little ELO in there? Yes, I do. But a little ELO never hurt anyone, now did it? - The Black Cat

Bryan Scary & the Shredding Tears
w/ Title Tracks
and The Black Hollies
Let’s see – a band getting good press, I don’t know them but it sounds like they have a couple good songs, playing at the Black Cat, what the heck….
Unfortunately, that sounds like the Girls show I went to last week. From what I’ve seen, it sounds like I’m missing some good bands there the last few days, but I’m scairt.

The Black Hollies are not to be missed. Their drummer is insane, their shows are tight – they start, then they run right through all their songs, then they end. They know what they’re doing and they do it well. Seen them about 6 times now.
