Art Critic 5000 Says:

This was one of the saddest, stupidest things I’ve seen in a long time. A perfectly good El Camino (actually a beautiful one), one of the most practical cars ever made, totally destroyed by a couple of misguided art punks. If you wanted to renew your “commitment to healthy living and a healthy future,” how about converting the car to bio-diesel and renting it out to poor folks who need to move? Or are you such nihilists that you’d really prefer to just say “fuck-all” and ruin a beautiful piece of machinery, an increasingly rare model automobile? Have I missed the point here? My heart sunk watching this performance. Talk about waste and ignorance.

Michael Says:

An El Camino? No shit? What year? I love those things.

I’m going to go drive around in my 12mpg truck in protest of what was sure to have been absolute retardation.

I guess donating it to a family in need or to an organization that would see to it a family without public transportation access would have use of it wouldn’t have been “art.”
