I swear to God, or whoever, that while my alarm played of Montreal this morning (as it does every morning) I didn't wake up I dreamt. My dream was about this very contest!! It's unbelievable to me. Yes while the mousy girl screamed violence and the grotesque animal played duck duck goose, in my dream, I entered a contest where I won a ticket to an of Montreal concert. Now while this contest may not be the exact, I think it's close enough and ironic too!! In all seriousness, every morning when my alarm goes off to OM, I never get up, I just dream about the band. How crazy is it that my dream involved a contest this morning?? I am sweet for the entire band. They fill my everyday with such happiness. And my kids love them too!! However, Kevin is so fucking sexy. He is a genius! Davey is hot and BP too. David is an amazing artist! Dottie rocks the keys! Can't wait for the new album!

Helena Bonham-Carter, Lily Allen and Alison Mosshart. OK, and Lady Gaga too.

To me, of Montreal is a band on a whole other level. Kevin really knows what's up. I know that it's only Kevin that records and plays all the instruments on the records, but the touring band is excellent too. The stage performers make the live shows a very interesting spectacle. Of Montreal takes the traditional rock show and transforms into a happening and that is one of the many reasons I respect their art so much. They have made music interesting again! They are absolutely my favorite band and I'm so excited and privileged to see them at the 9:30 Club September 14!
