You Me & Everyone We Know Release FREE EP

You Me & Everyone We Know is probably one of the most popular DC bands you’ve never heard of. Touring consistently for the past year with bands like Phantom Planet, I Am The Avalanche, and The Pink Spiders, YM&EWK has built a strong national following and a reputation for getting awesome.

Most recently, however, the band pulled a page out of the Radiohead handbook, and released a re-mastered, extended version of their EP “Party For The Grown and Sexy” online for free download with the help of a cross-promotional deal with AbsolutePunk.net.

Big things have been happening in the YM&EWK camp since we addressed some issues with lead singer Ben Liebsch a few months back. It seems 2008 is going to be a good year for the boys, now that they’ve secured a management deal with Drive Thru Records, got a featured showcase at SXSW, booked a slot at this year’s Bamboozle festival, and even received Say Anything’s Max Bemis’s seal of approval

Marty Soshel Says:

return of TRIP!

there’s this tune on the radio right now, and I KNOW it has to be produced my the guy who did Panic. it’s insane, like, 40 pop punk songs are squashed together into 3 minutes.

Dude have you heard the new Panic? First off, they dropped the “!” from their name. Now they don’t even sound like Panic anymore. Their new shit is about as direct a rip off of the Beatles as it gets.

Marty, i think that you aren’t punk rock enough. Ringtone rock is the new Dischord.

Trip are you ok? I’ve been worried about you. If you feel the darkness closing in, talk to someone about it, like your blog.
