BrightestYoungThings: Yet Another BYT Favorite Yes Song of the Day

Ok, I initially was going to post And You And I on Monday, but made a last minute change to Roundabout, but since Chad made the request, here it is. It appears on 1972's Close to the Edge, often thought of being the quintessential prog album of all time. I'm guessing though it sometimes gets overlooked for being stuck in between the 19 min title track and the popular live staple Siberian Khatru. But it's an absolutely gorgeous piece of music with out of this world Mellotron action, 12 string yumminess, and multi-tracked Anderson harmonies. After this album drummer Bill Bruford left for King Crimson (we'll get to them tomorrow) and things went downhill for a while, except for Roger Deans album covers which only got better.

BTW in 2003/4 Rhino re-issued all the early Yes albums with generally better sound and some non-essential bonus tracks.
