While not necessarily what you would call “good” this wins for the FIRST EVER OFFICIAL REMIX from the Radiohead album. Could you do better in 24 hours?

6.Arcade Fire, “Poupée de Cire, Poupée de Son” (France Gall cover)
Ok so Beeb Blog has some good stuff to snatch from this week, and it was between this and the LCD Soundsystem cover of Joy Division’s “No Love Lost” (if you are Cale, go here and take it) BUT I had to pick the Arcade Fire’s reworking of France Gall BECAUSE by playing 6 degrees of Serge Gainsbourg (who wrote this) IT ALLOWS ME to play this classic Serge vs. Whitney Houston
