All of which were recorded in between tour dates, in a tiny, unfinished room at Noam Schatz’s hundred-year-old
house in Hatfield, Massachusetts. “The wallpaper had just been scraped off so you can see all these old layers of paint. There’s a big hole in the ceiling, the floorboards are coming up. It was great,” says Peter Sax.
