I picked up this three-disc Isley Brothers comp the other day. It’s pretty epic. A number of times a song came up and I was like, oh they wrote this song too? Damn. And then other songs came up and I was all like, I’ve never heard this, it’s amazing, man, I had no idea how much I love the Isley Brothers. Then I looked at the liner notes pictures and I was like Holy shit these guys are bad mama jammas.
