I listen to at least a few seconds of every random band that hits me up on Myspace, and Surf Team’s “That Buck” was the long-awaited jackpot on this otherwise excruciating policy. I only had to stick with this one as far as the nonchalant delivery of “Hip-hop from ‘93 ’till infinity / Tell your friends that Surf Team took your virginity” to realize this would be a winner. I love every moment of this song. The cringe-inducing, bursting-at-the-seems production style sounds like Garage Band, friends, and a lot of fun.
