In the spring of 2004, I walked into a Florida dive bar for a dance party thats only prior draw was its $1 beer special. Halfway through the evening a song came on that immediately drew me to the floor. Perhaps it was the healthy amount of beer I had consumed, or a general lack of shame, but I danced like an epileptic hooker on laced blow. Melody Club's "Electric" is one of the best synth-pop/rock tracks I have ever heard, and I make a point of dropping it at nearly all of my gigs.
