The Brooklyn producer duo Tanlines opened up for Casablancas last night. Were they any good? One of the guys is from Professor Murder. I think Professor Murder was my very first BYT Fav Song of the Day back in 2006 and Svet described Tanlines as "a more disco Yeasayer" so they sounded like my dream come true. So far they have a couple singles and remixes and a cover of Beat It. Not bad, but mostly I hear potential. Looking forward to their upcoming EP. Here is S.A.W.

God loves a cheerful giver.
I, of course, managed to somehow miss them last night
asshole
I do have tons of thoughts about Julian though, so everyone can look forward to reading about that when the review goes up (probably) tomorrow
@Svetlana -- Did Mr. Strokes do the dice roll? I hope so.

I kept thinking yeasayer too! Unfortunately I thought their dry humor was injected directly into their beats.
