Ok, did a Presets song from 2008 yesterday, so now a band that toured with The Presets in 2009. We've been preaching the NYC electronic duo Golden Filter gospel for a while now when they blasted out of the gate with the excellent Solid Gold single earlier this year. Last month they released their second: Thunderbird. It's just as good, actually maybe even a little better. Loving the shimmering disco handclaps, perfectly out of tune synth solo, dramatic drum breakdown, funk bass line, and the icy italo vocals. One of the most promising acts for 2010. Dance the night away.
