Ok, enough of 2009, remember 2008? One of my fav tracks of that year was The Presets’ This Boy’s In Love. You’ve probably already forgotten about it, and history most certainly will (at least here in the States), but it’s a shame because it’s one of the finest piece of synth pop electro dance punk I’ve ever heard. Relentlessly driving and pretty and overblown and delicate and too earnest and subtle all at the same time. Not that it hasn’t been done before, they just did it perfectly this time around. 2008 was cool.
