Today's song is nothing short of a falsetto coated weirdeness miracle. In the best imaginable way. It is by some man from Canada named Chad VanGaalen and it is called "TMNT Mask" and I do actually think it is about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not that you would know unless you actually tried to decipher the lyrics, which there is almost no need to do so because the music itself is just a cacophony of genius and the voice feels more like an instrument that anything else.
Cale sent it to me in a zip called "Songs for Svet" and I almost didn't give it a good listen because it starts out a bit too electro-y for me, but boy, am I glad I made it past second 20, because now I am in love.
Chad, marry me.
