I always kind of thought I would be one of those people that get why people like Jay Reatard but never QUITE get him. But somehow, months after I got this “My Shadow” showed up on shuffle yesterday at work and I promptly listened to it 15 times in a row. You will too. No joke. Prime fuzziness and some exceptional (dare I say this?) rock crooning in here. I could live without some of the intermittent screams but this song should be such a huuuuuuuuge hit it is not even funny.
