Thao's album is probably my favorite thing this year.
If you find yourself near me and I have my (shitty, vintage, blue mini) ipod next to me I WILL MAKE YOU LISTEN TO IT.
I have bullied all my friends into getting it, my coworkers too, and even now, months after it got released I am certain that I will never be bored of it.

My numero uno choice on it though is "Bag of Hammers".
It is as perfect of a song you will hear in 08.
I think a lot of people are hesitant to listen to Thao because they think it will be some wimpy singer-songwriter action bullshit. BUT THEN...she hits you. HARD.
Upbeat heartbreaks are the worst.
When that "the catch is...." part rolls in, and she swells at you with "shake, shake...", I SWEAR I GET GOOSEBUMPS EVERY TIME
