In high school I had these ratty old dubbed cassette tapes of the BBC Radio dramatic reading of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.  Before or after each section there was this cool ass banjo music.  Eventually I lost the tapes and forgot all about it.  But in 2005, while watching the feature film, I realized how well it had imprinted itself in my brain when the waves of nostalgia flooded back as the same song was used in the (second) title sequence.  I always figured it was a bunch of sci fi music school dorks or something, but the internet told me it was the Eagles.  Wait… I think they are sci fi music school dorks.  And what the hell, I don’t like The Eagles.  But this song is so epic and awesome and it’s called Journey Of The Sorcerer!!  YES!!!
