The Bentzen Ball is coming up VERY SOON, our first full on comedy festival. To get you better acquainted with the 5 million comedians involved, we had them fill out this very official questionnaire. All the other info you ever wanted on the Bentzen Ball is located on it's very own special URL: http://www.bentzenball.com/

One of those monkeys that has sex all over the place. I think they are called Bonobos. [you're right -ed.] When they start to fight, they just start having sex. It's
awesome. [they have gay sex too, there are some Christian groups that try to disprove this though -ed.]

What are your pre-show rituals/superstitions?

I have to shake my legs all over the place.

Do you believe in God?

Yes. All of them.

If you could eliminate one race from the Earth which would you choose?

Persian drivers.

And finally, what did Tig bribe you with to get you to agree to come?

She said she would stop hitting me.

Ruby Wendell is the girl next door … who bites and steals. Born in Iowa City, Iowa to a Family Therapist and a Farmer (who divorced when she was 5) she is alternatively sweet, and uniquely dark, and it shows in her material.

She attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The British American Drama Academy in Oxford. Her grandfather, Howard “One Take” Wendell was a character actor in such movies as “Prince Valiant,” “Affair in Trinidad,” and “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes,” and she likes to think she is following in his footsteps.

Having discovered stand-up while living in New York, she is now addicted, and has since moved to L.A. where she performs … constantly.

She was most recently seen in the box office hit, Paul Blart; Mall Cop as well as on season six of Last Comic Standing. Ruby has another current indie comedy coming out, The Mother of Invention, which premiered internationally at The London Sci-Fi Film Festival at Oxford Circus and can be seen at the upcoming Hollywood Film Festival at The Arclight theater in Hollywood.

Previously in comedy:

God loves a cheerful giver.
