First and foremost:
Thank you all for coming!
All 700+ of you!
We know it was kind of off the beaten path, and we know there were some power issues early on, and we know it was hot and sweaty, and we also know it was AMAZING.
Seriously.

The bands collectively killed it.
(that beat circle Food for Animals made during the (billionth) power outage goes right up there in my favorite moments at a show list right NOW)
Chris and Cale killed it.
The photographers killed it.
The artists killed it.
Outputmessage and Geologist killed it.
Jesse Bishop and his bandanna killed it.
The security guards with matching scarves and gum killed it.
That bar with the christmas lights around it QUITE LITERALLY almost killed me and Libby (those sparks are for real).

Finally, a special thank you to Artomatic and Pinkline and Scion and Red Bull and our (quite literally) army of volunteers/contributors/bartenders/interns/etc. who pitched in and made this happen while putting up with our sleep-deprived blistery-footed sweat-drenched crotchety-old-thing demands.
There was so much love in that room I cannot even deal.
Sweat too.

(Bao cruised down from New York to be with us for this and: flattering lights, the prettiest bartenders in the tri-state area and beyond, hand holding, cheek kissing and getting creepy in the tee-pee)

Alyssa Lesser

(best concert photos in show: a blur of Hippos, Apes, Food for Animals and The Dance Party which is as kinetic as it is sweat drenched. All of course, with a point and shoot. When you’ve got skills like this, why carry a big bag of equipment? It just doesn’t go with your little lime green dress. )

Dakota:
Who showed up a little late due to prior assignements but JUST in time for glowsticks ON EVERYONE, “rumor has it Chris Burns is DJing naked” and then some….

and finally FITSUM who was there from second one (while my dress was still yellow and not drenched in soda and people were still able to breathe) till second last when we were passing out on those love cushions while wearing wristbands as headbands and imagining the tee pee going up in flames.
