Yesterday we ran our semi-seminal Best WORST SUMMER SONGS EVER post and all of you had an opinion

Today, we let you build your perfect summer soundtrack (then we will tie it all together, score some MP3s and present it to you at the end of the week, as a gift from the Gods of Summer).
SO, IT IS MAINLY ALL ON YOU TODAY
because while BAD is BAD, GOOD tends to be largely subjective. (write that down)
To get things rolling here are some of my favorites, from Lee Hazlewood to Joao to Devendra and the Beach Boys….listen up (I tend to skew old with these 9 but all classic)
