MUSIC Duende Quartet
5–8:15 p.m. The Duende Quartet captures the energy of a jazz combo in the rhythms of a Cuban band. Lincoln Center chose Duende as one of six jazz quartets to tour the world as part of the program “Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad.”

WINE TASTING Great Grapes
5–8:15 p.m. Experts from Best Cellars wine will introduce three distinct white wines.

FILM Christo’s Valley Curtain

GALLERY TALK Inventing Modernism from Chardin to Matisse
6 & 7 p.m. Art historians consider Jean-Siméon Chardin and Henri Matisse, born more than 150 years apart, pioneers in the development of modern art. Explore the evolution of modernism through the work of Chardin, Matisse, and other masters.
